What fin configuration is suitable for shortboards?
Shortboards typically use a 3-fin (thruster) configuration that provides a good balance between stability and maneuverability. Some models can also be equipped with 2 or 4 fins depending on the surfer's preferences. Some vintage boards are also available as single fins.

What are the different categories of shortboards?

- Retro/Hybrid : These models mix retro design elements (such as more rounded shapes) with modern technologies. They offer a compromise between handling and stability.
